In the waning days of WWII, the German King Tiger tank, armed with a potent 88mm cannon, clashed with Allied forces. Its genesis began in January 1943, with early models boasting a Henschel body and Porsche-designed, heavily armored turret up to 100mm thick. Officially dubbed the Panzerkampfwagen VI-B Tiger II, only fifty Porsche turrets were produced before mass production of the Henschel turret commenced. However, it was the Porsche turret-equipped King Tiger that made history, engaging Allied forces during the Normandy Invasion. The R/C King Tiger's heart is a twin motor gearbox powered by 380-type motors. The innovative DMD (Digital Twin Motor Differential) Control Unit, operating the motors via a two-channel FET amplifier, enables a vast range of movements at all speeds. From stationary to cruising, enjoy dynamic maneuvering akin to driving a two-channel R/C car. A single 7.2V battery powers the entire system, eliminating the need for a separate battery for the DMD Control Unit. Operation requires a two-channel R/C unit, along with a 7.2V Tamiya Racing Pack and charger.
